But I am still puzzled why Adobie charged me $79 for an upgrade that they never delivered, and it’s for free, but instead sold me a full version LR6.0 (for half the price) that I already had. Ignore the badge and spend time on what’s more important in your photography.Thank you John, it worked. This will limit the photo file size exported from Lightroom to be under 50 MB, which is the current limit of the Lightroom Plugin. Note: Not seeing the available updates See Available updates not listed. For additional information, see Update Creative Cloud apps. If you don’t care (or care much) about metadata, don’t waste your time. Launch Lightroom and choose Help > Updates. Do NothingĪnother option is to ignore metadata conflicts entirely. This option treats the metadata of photo as the source of truth. The information in the photo is pulled into the Lightroom catalog. If this is the case, Import Settings From Disk is appropriate. Or you prefer another tool for metadata management. Perhaps you use another program as part of your overall workflow. In some cases, you may have purposely made a metadata change outside of Lightroom. If anything changes outside of Lightroom, I ignore it.

This is the option I use, because in my workflow, Lightroom is the source of truth for my photo metadata. Try uninstalling Lightroom 6 completely, then install the base application from the same page then install the 6.14 update. This approach treats the Lightroom catalog as the authority on metadata. Overwrite Settings takes the metadata in the Lightroom catalog and writes it out to your photo. What you choose to do will depend on how you track metadata and what source - the photo or the Lightroom catalog - you consider the source of metadata truth. However a metadata conflict is introduced, a photo with a conflict is marked by a badge in the upper right corner of the thumbnail.
